Dragon Phoenix
Does anyone know what the red dragon/phoenix like creature of the scottish rite of freemasons is called?
It’s an eagle.
It is stylized similar to the heraldic eagles seen in coat of arms and such of continental Europe, which is where the Scottish Rite actually began.
It does not have a name.
It differs slightly depending on which Scottish Rite degree it might be representing, but it is always still an eagle.
