What do you think of these names?
-Wyatt Nathaniel
-Dixie-Rose Marie
-Elizabeth Layne (will call her Layne)
And yes, Layne came from Lane Frost, my best friend is naming her son Austin Tuff (Tuff Hedeman)
I want names that a kind of different but not weird. And that reflect our southern heritage.
Open to ALL comments and new suggestions! Thanks!
Wyatt Nathaniel: I like it…Wyatt is a tad country, but not in a bad or trashy way, and it sounds strong and manly. I love Nathaniel and the combo flows well.
Dixie-Rose Marie: I HATE Dixie, sorry…it’s bad Southern, not good Southern…sounds like a worn-out 40-something bleached-blonde truck-stop hooker to be honest. Rose and Marie are both OK but rather overused. What about Beatrix Rosemary (nickname Trixie) or Alexandra Rosemary (nickname Lexi)?
Elizabeth Layne: I really like Elizabeth…it’s a wonderfully strong, timeless classic. I’d only recommend Layne if it’s a family name, though, and I would NOT call her that everyday…it reminds me of Lane Bryant (the plus-size store).
