Highland Rose

How do you safely lower pH without using a lot of chemicals?
I have very hard, alkaline well water and the pH reading is around 7.8 or so. I use AquaSafe water conditioner and Stress Coat. I just recently added some Highland Rose sandstone formations to my tank as I have heard that this type of stone can help to buffer the pH to neutral. How can I neutralize the pH without adding a lot of chemicals? Answers are greatly appreciated!
by not using any chemicals and leaving it as it is
it’s more important to have stable pH
you could use however peatmoss, which you just put into your filter and driftwood also lowers pH
