Sax Baritone
What instrument should I play?
I am looking for a new musical instrument to learn to play. I already know how to play the alto sax, baritone sax, piano, and Bb clarinet to a lesser extent. I plan to play whatever instrument I get next in both jazz and classical music, but maybe a little more jazz than classical. Can you please recommend an instrument and give the qualities about it (Pros & Cons, Difficulty of transitioning from one instrument to another, Good traits & Bad traits, Things to consider about the instrument, etc.)?
Piccolo — Pros: Easy to learn. Cons: Difficult to master
Zither — Pros: Like playing ten guitars contemporaneously. Cons: Will be mistaken for an autoharp... by *everyone*.
Glass Harmonica — Pros: Benjamin Franklin. Cons: Too much of this instrument will cause insanity.
Harp — Pros: Great for making segues into dreamscapes. Cons: No one knows where middle C is.
Crwth — Pros: Only instrument in English language without a vowel. Cons: Isn't the only word without a vowel.
Harpsichord — Pros: Performer can be buried in coffin-like box upon death. Cons: No volume control.
